A Regular Guy with a Big Job
Posted by Press Office on January 09, 2013

In 2012, Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) continued to focus on building a stronger economy and brighter future for our kids and grandkids.  In between floor debates and press conferences were small moments shared with colleagues, staff, and visitors from around the world.  This set of photos, including several newly released images, takes you behind the scenes with Speaker Boehner, a self-described “regular guy with a big job”:

Do your job and quit cow towing to the president and his team that are dismantling this country. I am sick of it and you are losing your core supporters. Forget the social stuff it is what it is. Focus on saving our country.

The house controls the money, so why doesn't the house vote to withhold all payments to fund Obama Care until the budget is balanced?

I believe there is this cancer of hate metastasizing all over Africa and elsewhere. How does the US defeat this cancer from infecting even more. I believe we must create healthy cells to do this. This includes creating new economic opportunities. For example, did you know the world only consumes 40-60 percent of all food produced? Just google it. If we can reduce this number by just 10 percent, we can feed more people. Thus help produce peace around the world through food security. Many parts of the world do not have roads or bridges. This causes severe food shortages, thus less peace. Can the US mass produce those new heavy lifting drone helicopters. Then more food could be flown to every parts of the world. Then the poor could raise livestock and grow more food afterwards with training. Thus help this cancer from spreading. 2) The following idea may help our military there in Africa and elsewhere. Can placing walls with checkpoints by way of drone helicopters be a smart move? The military is already using new heavy lifting drone helicopters. They use them to move supplies into Afghanistan. Can the US mass produce these drone helicopters to air lift blast walls from Baghdad and other bases? Then drop these walls to places where it will help our military in pinpoint areas of roads and towns. These walls could help block this free-roam of people and supplies... 3) At other times, these drone helicopters could be used to move emergency supplies to parts of this nation before a major storm occurs. There are warehouses that use robots to fill orders in record time. These auto-warehouses could fill those shipping/trucking containers with emergency supplies. Then the drones could air lift these containers to open air areas, like school grounds, parks, and large empty parking lots. Then these items could be distributed from the back of these containers to people. .... 4) These drones could be used to help put out wildfires, as well. There could be a multiple amount of these drones dropping fire resistant chemicals for every 1 regular piloted helicopter..As you can see, these heavy lifting drone helicopters could be used in many areas. Can the US Please develop then mass produce these new heavy lifting drone helicopters? It could create many new US jobs at the same time...

President obama has missed the legal deadline for submitting a budget more than any previous president, and suggested this year’s budget will be late too. Where does Congress come in in all of this? What is a LEGAL deadline for? Who's responsibility is it to keep the president in check? Maybe you people in Congress could get your heads together long enough to realize that we have a Constitution that is supposed to be protected and preserved by someone! Where are those people responsible for the protecting and preserving part? The United States of America is in grave danger of being demolished by an out of control President who is hell bent on the destruction of our country and it is long past time for our representatives to open your eyes and look what's happening in the nation under this usurpers reign. Look at the divisions he has caused and is still causing. We could be on the brink of a more violent time than our country has been through since the Civil War if he is not stopped and reigned in by the laws of our land and I do believe it starts in Congress as impeachment proceedings no matter what the state controlled media outlets spew out about it, they are nothing more than an extension of the obama administration and it shouldn't take anyone four years of college to figure that out. A little common sense would go a long way right now!

Mr Boehner, I keep hearing you say now the president and the senate have to do. No, you have to do. The last time I saw the constitution---this piece of paper is what you republicans are always referring to when things don't go your way. Well read it again because the House has to start the ball rolling. the Senate checks it out and if they have added or deleted then it goes back to you. Once you and the Senate have an agreement then you send it to the President. You already know what the president has requested---the problem is yours and not the president nor the Senate. DO YOUR JOB and stop throwing the blame on President and Senate. Lili
