The Congressman's July 2012 in Photos
Posted by Press Office on August 03, 2012

During the month of July, Congressman John Boehner focused on stopping President Obama’s small business tax hike in interviews with FOX News and CNN; paid tribute to Private First Class Jacob Chestnut and Detective John Gibson of the U.S. Capitol Police; remembered the victims of the tragedy in Aurora, Colorado; presented a Congressional Gold Medal honoring Constantino Brumidi, and much more.  The full set of photos can be seen on Flickr, complete with captions and additional information:

Following the disappointing re-election of Barack Obama by the citizens of this country, you have one opportunity to right the wrong that has already been done to this nation for four years. You must refuse to certify the electoral college vote based on Mr. Obama's failure to meet the Constitution's qualifications for the U.S. Presidency: He is not a natural-born citizen of the United States! By his own admission (lack of a valid birth certificate not-withstanding) Barack Obama's father was from Kenya (a British subject) at the time of his birth, thus making him a dual citizen (U.S. and British) at birth. You and your colleagues in the House of Representatives committed a gross injustice by affirming the electoral college vote in 2008 without properly vetting the President's qualifications. Please do not repeat that error, even if you are the only representative who asserts the truth and the guidelines of our Constitution. Remember you also took an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution... Please don't bother to send me your "canned" letter - not interested in you telling me what I already know. Stand for freedom and righteousness and tell me if you. Have some spine for a change. Eileen Havens
